I have had this particular unit for several years now. It has been great and I highly recommend it. When I initially purchased it, I wasn't using it correctly and reached out for help. The Customer Service was fantastic and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Everything about this product tells you that ChangBERT is a real professional company making the effort to do things right. The Induction Cooktop is first class, with intuitive controls and solid build. It is easy to use, and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Moreover, the packaging is robust and attractive, and the User's Manual is professional, and easy to use. It boils water incredibly quickly, even faster than our old induction unit. The cooking surface is larger than we expected, it easily handles 12 inch big pans or a flat-top griddle. The one-tap power-on is a huge plus. It goes straight into HEAT mode. Just press and start cooking. Anyone can use it, which makes it great for shared spaces or quick outdoor setups.
I tried this induction cooktop on the first day it arrived at our café kitchen, and it impressed me right away. The buttons are straightforward, respond instantly, and it took almost no time for my staff to learn how to use it, no learning curve to start cooking right away, simple to use.
The large cooking surface is perfect for our commercial pans. It fits my 12-inch cast iron grill pan with no issue and heats evenly across the entire bottom, no cool corners like the smaller portable cooktop we used before. When I tested it with a batch of salmon fillets, it heats up super fast and the precise temperature control made a big difference. Once I set the temp, the heat stayed steady, and the salmon came out beautifully seared on the outside and tender inside.
After a day of cooking, it only takes a quick wipe to get the glass top clean again. Even with splashes and spills, it resets fast and is ready for the next round. It feels like I got a commercial grade product without paying the premium price. Great value for the money!!!
This is a solid light-duty portable unit. Of course, the glass top isn’t the most durable, so it can be broken if handled carelessly, but for everyday cooking it performs very well. If you’re planning on heavy commercial-style use, step up to a heavier one. Otherwise, this one is more than enough for kitchens. It ends up on our counter almost every day, often several times a day.
What stood out is how intuitive it is. This is one of the most intuitive cooktops I’ve used. Most people could run it without even opening the manual, which is actually quite good.
Performance is strong. The lowest power setting, maybe still a touch high to keep food barely warm like hot chocolate warm, but for simmering or cooking it’s fine. Also learned that not all induction-ready pans are equal — cast iron heats beautifully, while enamel or pans with non-ferrous cladding take longer to respond.
I’ve had this cooktop for six months. Built quality, easy-touch tactile buttons, the price is reasonable, recommended it!!!
I’ve been using this induction cooktop almost every day in my restaurant kitchen, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with it. What sold me right away was how simple and practical it is—clear power level buttons, no touchscreens, no confusing menus. My staff picked it up instantly, no training required.
The cooking surface is a large, flat piece of thick glass—easy to clean and big enough for our 10-quart stockpot or a 12-inch frying pan without feeling cramped. It heats evenly across the entire surface, which I can’t say about many other hot plates we’ve tried. And with NSF certification, I know it’s built for real commercial use and meets the hygiene standards we need.
The buttons are a huge plus in a busy kitchen—they give solid tactile feedback, even with wet or greasy hands. Way more reliable than touchscreens, which can be frustrating when they don’t register. And unlike knobs, there aren’t any cracks or gaps for food to get stuck in. Super easy to use and even easier to keep clean.
This unit is built solid—nothing flimsy about it. We’ve run it straight through lunch and dinner shifts, and it just keeps going without any issues. Other brands we’ve tried were either too complicated or couldn’t hold up, but this one feels like it was actually designed for real kitchen work.
If you want a commercial-grade induction cooktop that’s simple, tough, and built for real use, this one’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.
