Works great without issues. This cooktop is also pretty easy to use and is fairly intuitive. Our cooking staff uses it every day along with our other induction cooktops.

This is actually my second ChangBERT cooktop. I bought their another model last 2 years and it’s been rock-solid, so when I needed a dedicated burner for making beef bone broth, I didn’t even bother looking at other brands.
I've loved using HEAT mode for years because I'm impatient and it brings the pot heating up fast, my 6 Qt pot of cold bones and water reached a boil way quicker just in minutes. Once it reached a full boil, I switched to TEMP mode to keep it at that perfect low simmer. It holds a steady temperature without drifting, which is exactly what you want for broth. I set it and it kept that gentle simmer for hours without jumping up and boiling over. Makes the broth clear, not cloudy.
The large cooking area is a big deal for me. I love cooking large batches of food, and the extra-large heating space ensures everything cooks evenly, not just a hot spot in the middle like the smaller units I’ve tried before. Even when I’m reducing sauce in my skillet, the edges bubble evenly. Great value, highly recommend!!!

This induction burner is incredibly handy and simple to use. I used it outdoors to cook fish, and I was so happy that I was able to keep the strong smells out of the house. It does require compatible cookware, like cast iron or pots and pans with a magnetic base, but it comes with a test magnetic sheet to check compatibility. The cooktop will not heat up unless the proper cookware is on top. I picked up my pan briefly to swirl the oil around, and it immediately beeped and shut off the heat. As soon as I set the pan back down, it resumed heating. If no pan is detected for 60 seconds, it shuts off automatically.

Setup is quick, it heats up impressively fast, and cooks food evenly. Cleanup is a breeze as the smooth surface wipes down easily. The front buttons are actual push buttons, not touch-sensitive, so I don’t accidentally change the settings or power it off while wiping away splatters. That’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in usability.

I’m genuinely excited to use this again. It’s made me more willing to cook more aromatic dishes I’d rather not prepare inside. It’s compact, efficient, and a great addition to my cooking setup.
