We’re redoing our kitchen right now and can’t use the gas stove for about a month, so I needed a compact induction cooktop to handle daily meals—especially with kids at home—and this has been a great solution.
I’ve been using it almost every day to cook for the family. First thing I noticed: it heats up fast. Heat Mode is clearly made for quick cooking. When I need to boil water, I just hit the Boil button—it jumps to 1800W and gets going in just a few minutes. Super handy on busy weeknights when I don’t have time to wait.
Temp Mode warms a little slower than Heat Mode, but that’s intentional—it helps keep things from burning. It’s perfect for dishes that need steady, lower heat, like simmering stew or melting chocolate. I’ve cooked a bunch of meals with it this way, switching between Heat and Temp to keep a gentle simmer. Same when I steam veggies—Heat to get it boiling, then Temp to keep the steam steady without overdoing it.
The fan’s nice and quiet too, so it doesn’t get annoying while I’m cooking.
All in all, it’s easy to use, easy to clean, feels sturdy, and performs really well. Definitely worth it so far.
